Blog 172 – Remembering Who You Are

As my physical life evolved in the world that I had created in my mind, the experiences, individuals, and situations I encountered, moved me along on a path of self-discovery. I slowly became aware of what seemed to be a greater purpose in all that I experienced. Issues and challenges kept showing up until I had no choice but to face them head-on and deal with the consequences and actions of my behaviour. The problems and challenges that I had presented to myself acted like signposts opening up my awareness of my higher nature and my relationship to Divinity.  I slowly began to realize that the main issue in all of our lives was accepting our authentic identity as a spiritual being while experiencing our physical personality living out a worldly drama in a dream of our physical world in our minds. As long as you accept the fact that who you are is a separate personality living your life in the world you have created, you will have a very hard time opening yourself up to the truth of your real existence, your real identity and your relationship to God..

I understand that it is very hard for you not to accept that your worldly self living your physical life in the world is who you are. Your physical experience is a creation in your mind, It seems real to you, as it should. On another level deep within yourself, where your spirit resides, your life energy is joined with God’s conscious energy in spiritual unity. This is the essence of who you really are. You are a spiritual being having a worldly experience. Divine influences that are present around you and in your life will provide you with many experiences, opportunities and individuals to encourage you in discovering your spiritual nature and remembering who you really are. This message that you are currently reading is a good example of such encouragement. I now know that every experience, whether I perceived it as good or bad, was significant in my overall learning and spiritual growth and development.

This process of re-identifying with your authentic spiritual nature is initiated by you taking a leap of faith and opening yourself up to the possibility of God’s existence. It has been said: knock and it shall be open to you, seek and you shall find, ask and it shall be given to you. This is a powerful pledge to you. You can trust in this sacred promise. Accepting the existence of God allows you the opportunity to open yourself up to the possibility of building a relationship with Him. A big part of this relationship would be His communications to you through His Holy Spirit, The Great Communicator. Think of all the amazing opportunities and possibilities  that suddenly present themselves to you as you begin feeling and remembering the Presence Of God within you and in your life. Seeing with a new clarity and a deeper understanding,  you will become more aware of  God’s handiwork in your life and the lives of so many around you and throughout your world. You will begin to realize that God is the conductor of a carefully orchestrated symphony, with all of the players playing their parts in perfect harmony.
