As part of your spiritual journey, it may be helpful for you to be aware of a number of “absolute spiritual truths,” even though initially they may be difficult for you to accept. You exist because God exists. God is your Source and Creator. You can never be separate from God. It is not possible. It is a fact that you are the creator of your own worldly experiences with the support and help of Divinity and your spiritual family. It is also true that nothing happens in your life, good or bad, that you, on a higher level, are not in complete control of. Everything you experience is purposeful in your quest for enlightenment. In your real identity, as a spiritual entity, you are never a victim nor can you be. Can God be a victim? As an aspect of God neither can you. Nothing you experience in your illusionary story of your physical life in the world is real. Even though it feels very real, it is all just a dream. All that you experience in your worldly life leads you to increased learning, personal growth and a deepening awareness of your true spiritual nature. This is the reason you chose to manifest your life in the world in the first place.
As a result of my inability to cope with my life circumstances, I developed serious sexual, mental health and substance abuse issues. As time passed, from my growing spiritual nature, I could see that I was losing control physically, emotionally and mentally. My attempt to find healing led me to numerous medical and psychiatric consultations which eventually led to my voluntary admission to a private psychiatric hospital. This led me to step away from my very busy life and start to find healing for myself. From within this quiet safe setting, I became more and more aware of God’s Presence near me. I felt a Love and a Peace that passes all understanding. Out of the stillness, I could hear God’s quiet still voice deep within me. From this place, the understanding of my life and my world began to shift. I began to recognize more and more my real identity and God’s Presence all around me. I eventually was inspired to write about my experiences resulting in our book..
As clearly outlined in our book, I became aware of these truths as I discovered my relationship to God and All of Divinity, including you. I now understand that I created all of the experiences and circumstances in my worldly life. The choices that I made led me on a course that would allow me to begin discovering my spiritual identity as an aspect of All That God Is. While my private life was in complete turmoil. Thanks to God’s direct interventions in my life, I became a highly successful: mental health counselor, program and community developer and a business leader in numerous diverse businesses. God used my vocational experiences to guide my life and increase my spiritual awareness. As you read these words, look at your own life. It is our hope that you will discover that you as well have been on a spiritual journey. Be assured your journey is also leading you to awaken from your worldly dream to your true reality, One with God and All That Is.
